IT Systems Specialist - San Juan

Requisitos:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology

Two (2) years managing Windows or Linux servers and desktops in a financial services industry, banking, or heavily regulated business.

Three to five (3-5) years related work experience (Server/Infrastructure, hardware and software implementation, Local Area Network, Security Implementation and Management)

Experience in public cloud environments, including AWS and/or Azure

Cloud Platforms (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)

Familiarity with TCP/IP and other network protocols, firewall management, and operating system configuration.

Strong knowledge on Network technologies, Storage Architecture, Cloud computing and database technologies.

Directory or other directory services.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and contractors.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and capable of interacting with upper management.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail

Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Experience managing McAfee Endpoint Server

Experience managing Office 365 environment and applications

Knowledge in VMWare infrastructure solution and administration

Required Travel:

10% (Required) Between main Office to Data Center Collocations
Actividades a realizar:
Defines and develops system standards and procedures.

Responsible for Windows Active Directory & Office 365 architecture and administration.

Establish configuration, compliance, and audit program to effectively manage AWS accounts and resources

Creating and configuring cloud compute, storage, and other cloud services in the system on AWS

Review cloud resources and cost drivers, compute, storage, network, managed services, database and service licenses, marketplace, and accounts

Maintain cloud-based servers patching vulnerabilities, backup/restore operations, provision new servers, configure firewalls, configure monitoring systems.

Ensures servers and other network devices are operating in accordance with established standards.

Develops new and maintain existing system documentation.

Monitors servers- network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.

Provides servers- network performance statistics and reports.

Performs other essential duties or special projects as assigned.

Maintains, test and support the Network and disaster recovery systems.

Evaluates requirements, evaluating different vendor solutions and purchasing new

equipment/software as required.

Implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of organizational data and assets.

Establish appropriate end-user access control levels for stored data.

Perform file system configuration and management define and perform server backups and recovery procedures.

Plan and implement server upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches.

Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports.
